At Derbyshire Country Houses, we love our dogs. The Peak District and Derbyshire Dales are the perfect setting for your furry friend to roam and explore freely along the many scenic trails accessible from our properties.

**Dog Policy**  

We are delighted to welcome dogs to our properties under the following terms:  

 

We regret that we cannot accommodate cats or other pets. By agreeing to this policy, you confirm the following:  

1. My dog is over 12 months of age.  

2. My dog is fully housetrained and does not chew or dig.  

3. My dog weighs under 25kg (or all dogs together weigh no more than the maximum combined weight for applicable properties). 

4. My dog is not listed on the UK Government’s Dangerous Dogs list, including pit bull types or pit bull-type crosses.  

5. My dog will be kept on a lead where other humans or dogs may be present.  

6. My dog may join me in the bedroom in their crate/bed but will not go on human beds.  

7. My dog will not be left unattended in the property unless they have their own crate and are comfortable being left for a short time.  

8. My dog will remain in this property only and will not enter other properties.  

9. I will promptly clean up after my dog and dispose of waste in the designated rubbish skips.  

10. I will only allow my dog on the sofa/furniture if I have covered it with a clean throw brought from home.  

 

I agree to pay the pet fee of £25 per dog.  

 

Please ensure you agree to all 10 points before adding your dog to any booking.

- Henry’s Haunt: 1 dog, maximum 25kg combined  

- Manners: 1 dog, maximum 25kg combined  

- Priesthill: 2 dogs, maximum 50kg combined  

- Hartle: 3 dogs, maximum 75kg combined  

- The Chapel: 2 dogs, maximum 50kg combined  

- Deferrers: 3 dogs, maximum 75kg combined  

- Cokaynes: 3 dogs, maximum 75kg combined  

- The Barn: 3 dogs, maximum 75kg combined  

- The Manor House: 4 dogs, maximum 100kg combined  

- Woodcutters: No dogs allowed  

 

**Other Properties**  

- The Old Angel: 4 dogs, maximum 100kg combined  

- Lea Hall: 4 dogs, maximum 100kg combined  

- Riber Hall: 4 dogs, maximum 100kg combined  

- Stables at Riber Hall: No dogs allowed
